Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the total fee of the RSCIT course in Jaipur?

The standard fee for the RSCIT course in Jaipur is around ₹4,000 to ₹4,500. This fee is mostly fixed by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited, so you will see similar pricing across all authorized centers.

However, some institutes may charge:

• ₹100–₹300 extra for registration
• ₹200–₹500 for extra practice or facilities

👉 My advice: Don’t choose a center just because it is cheaper. Focus on teaching quality and lab practice, because the fee difference is very small.

2. What is the duration of the RSCIT course and how are classes conducted?

The RSCIT course duration is 3 months (approximately 12 weeks). Classes are usually conducted:

• 1 hour per day OR
• 1–2 hour alternate days

Most centers provide:

• Theory + practical sessions
• Computer lab practice
• Weekly tests

👉 Good institutes ensure daily practical exposure, which is very important for beginners.

3. Is RSCIT compulsory for government jobs in Rajasthan?

Yes, RSCIT is required for many government jobs in Rajasthan such as:

• Clerk (LDC)
• Patwari
• Police (some roles)
• Data entry operator

The certificate is issued through Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, which makes it officially valid for government recruitment.

👉 Without RSCIT, your application can be rejected in many cases.

4. Is RSCIT difficult to pass? What is the passing criteria?

RSCIT is not difficult, especially if you attend classes regularly.

The exam pattern:

• Total marks: 70
• Passing marks: 28
• Mode: Online (MCQ-based)

Additionally:

• Internal assessment also carries marks
• Questions are basic (computer fundamentals, internet, MS Office)

👉 If you practice regularly, passing is very easy.
Students who skip classes usually face problems.

5. Can a beginner with no computer knowledge join RSCIT?

Yes, absolutely. RSCIT is designed for complete beginners.

You will learn:

• How to use a computer
• Basic typing
• Internet usage
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

👉 This is why choosing the right center matters.
A good teacher will make it easy even if you have never touched a computer.

6. Which is the best RSCIT center in Jaipur?

There is no single “best” center for everyone.

The best center for you depends on:

• Your location
• Teacher quality
• Batch size
• Practice facilities

For example:

• Beginners → Ajmera / Computer Gyan type institutes
• Professional setup → Thirdeye / Samyak
• Budget → Local RKCL centers

👉 My honest advice:
Take a demo class before joining. That matters more than brand name.

7. Is the RSCIT certificate valid outside Rajasthan?

The RSCIT certificate is primarily valid for government jobs within Rajasthan.

However:

• It is recognized as a basic computer qualification
• It can help in private jobs across India

👉 But for national-level jobs, additional certifications may be required.

8. Can I do RSCIT online or from home?

In most cases, RSCIT is conducted offline through RKCL-authorized centers.

Reason:

• Practical training is important
• Attendance is required
• Internal assessment is done at center

Some institutes may provide online support, but complete online RSCIT is not common or recommended.

9. What jobs can I get after completing RSCIT?

After RSCIT, you can apply for basic roles like:

• Computer operator
• Data entry operator
• Office assistant
• Clerk-level jobs

👉 Important:
RSCIT alone does not guarantee a job.
It works as a minimum eligibility qualification, especially for government jobs.

10. How many RSCIT centers are there in Jaipur and how to verify them?

Jaipur has 100+ RKCL-authorized ITGK centers.

To verify a center:

• Ask for RKCL authorization
• Check ITGK code
• Visit official RKCL website

👉 Never join an unauthorized institute, even if fees are lower.

11. Is attendance compulsory in RSCIT course?

Yes, attendance is important because:

• Internal marks depend on it
• Practical sessions are required
• Centers may restrict exam eligibility without attendance

👉 Regular attendance = better understanding + easy exam.

12. Can I change my RSCIT center after registration?

No, once your admission is registered with RKCL, you cannot change the center easily.

👉 That’s why:

• Take demo class
• Check faculty
• Confirm before admission

13. What documents are required for RSCIT admission?

You usually need:

• Aadhaar card
• Passport size photo
• Mobile number
• Basic personal details

Some centers may ask for:

• Educational qualification proof

14. What is the exam pattern of RSCIT?

The exam is:

• Online
• Objective type (MCQs)
• Based on computer basics

Topics include:

• Internet
• MS Office
• Digital services
• Basic IT knowledge

👉 Most questions are straightforward if you attend classes.

15. Is RSCIT worth doing in 2026?

Yes, RSCIT is still very useful if:

• You are preparing for Rajasthan government jobs
• You don’t have basic computer knowledge
• You need a recognized certificate

👉 But if you already know computers well, you may go for advanced courses instead.
